Met a LIVING LEGEND!!!!

Many times I usually think "what is living legend?"... those people have any ex-ordinary power? how they will behave with normal people?.. these questions make me a confused opinion on LIVING LEGENDS. Today almost I got the answer for these questions. Yes I met one living legend, his name is K N Seetharamu. Dr. K N Seetharamu done his ME in mechanical engineering in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and PhD in Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.Then he joined as assistant professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT-M. His inputs in the field of Heat and Mass transfer is invaluable for India. He played many roles in several research organizations throughout worldwide.

I went to his home in Bangalore with my great well wisher Mr.E.Sankarakumaraswamy from IIT Madras. Whenever I met Sankar sir, I usually get some good things and thoughts. This time I got best moments in my life, wheather I don't know that I can meet such a personality in my remaining life... Sankar sir told many time about that Prof. Seetharamu, from that I had an imaginary image about him.

Yesterday evening, We went together to Prof. K N Seetharamu's home at Giri nagar. It is look like a simple urban house, not with grand gardens etc,. When we went there, he was in pooja, he is a sincere devotee of Lord Siva. His wife only received us, from the way of she received us I can get how a woman can being in support of a man's success. We sat on the sofa in the hall, she went to prepare coffee for us. In this time gap, I was seeing the shields and awards kept in the showcase. In that I noticed two important awards by IEEE and ASME, I was wondering about him. After 10 minutes he came from pooja room, when I saw him first time, I could realize my imaginary image is same with the exact image. Sankar sir introduced me to him and they were talked about old stories for more that thirty minutes, in the time his wife was talking with me, asked about my background and all. Finally Prof. Seetharamu told about his researches and students. I was wondered when I heard about his students list, Prof. Pradip Dutta, Prof. Narasimman, Prof. Anadasuresh, Prof. Gurumoorthy......... these are all known to me and many of his students are working in world wide universities. He asked about my research work and gave some suggestions, it is really great. And I heard that in August  on his 75th birthday, all his students are planing to meet and conduct a workshop. I am very eager to attend that function, but I know I am not eligible to enter in to that function. And they are planing to make an award in International conference on Heat and Mass transfer for best presentation on his name. We got bless from those couple, and moved to IISc. I am very proud about myself to meet such a great couple in my life I don't know whether I can meet such a couple in my remaining age. When I leaving his home, I was thinking about me at the age of 75...?!
